Tracey is the Executive Headteacher of Fitzmaurice and Westwood with Iford Primary Schools. Allergy education has been Tracey’s passion for over 10 years since her teenage son had a severe reaction to animal hair and then food. Tracey found that school staff were as knowledgeable as she was and to begin with that was a very small amount of information. Tracey has worked with the local CCG and Local Authority to shape allergy management and training in her area. Tracey first became involved with Anaphylaxis UK by attending a support group and then leading one. Tracey has since spoken at conferences and has participated in webinars and written resources for schools. Tracey says she is privileged to be able to use her insights into both education and allergy to help improve school life for all children.
